NOTE (2012) This site, "Grateful Hands," has shifted its focus for the time being. This web site was to supplement the book I was writing ("Getting to Heaven"). However, I have crossed paths with "evil powers and principalities of the unseen world" and have dedicated much of my time tring to eradicate the diabolic forces encountered. The topics in the left margin represent the different areas of corruption I have unveiled since June 01, 2011. One thing led to ceanother and there are now three general areas of corruption I address:
- "Cars for Cash" scam: LAG Towing stealing people's cars (1st three topics)
- $ 1.61 million (more?) given by Haas family to city and chamber to buy influence (also see Newspaper articles)
- Two Protected Drug Houses
Grateful Hands is a Ministry in Luzerne Couny, Pa. The mission is to help families who are "on the edge." We focus especially on families with single moms. We have helped families whose father was in jail and others whose father provides liitle or no support. Please E mail me through this site if you or someone you know needs help. See testimonials below. I run the risk of "patting myself on the back" by repeating what others have said. Guilty as charged. However, the much bigger picture is that there are people out there who care. I was helped in a magnificent way (see Miracle in North Carolina story) and I am "passing forward" what was freely given to me. If you wish to help someone and are "on the fence" in deciding, please use the testiomonials below as a reason to "go for it." It need not be money. Give where you can. Do something truly outrageous and make a difference in somebody's life!
Upon volunteering to pay towards Tyler Winstead's funeral: "Words cannot express the gratitude we feel for all that you did during our time of loss and grief. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts. Carol and Will Golden and family."
My friends can't believe the help you have given me. We don't "live in a world" where people do that. After LAG Towing stole me car... I figured I was cooked. Then you came in, got me a car, and made me whole.
After reading your story (linked on this site) "Miracle on I-95 in North Carolina" I got a sense of where you were coming from. If more people knew that people like this do exist... I believe more people would "pay it forward" like you have done. I may not be able to help people financially... but I am going to look to help where I can.
11/15/11 Mark... I don't know what to say. I am speechless. You paying the back taxes on my house allows me and my daughter to stay settled.
10/08 Mark... never in my wildest dreams did I expect my 32 year old daughter to pass away just after giving birth. Flying her body from Florida to North Carolina along with the funeral expenses was completely unforeseen. You generous and Godly gift help cover most of the costs. I can't waituntil you come down and see us again.
Your brother in Christ

08/03/11 Mark... thank you for saving us. As I said, my sister's son has been in the hospital since Friday with 105 temp, blood infection, an a heart murmur (please pray for him). She called me last night crying because she hasn't been able to work this week because she has been at the hospital and now they are going to lose their car and get their water shut off. Thank you for giving me almost double what I asked for. You truly are "sent by an angel."
What a blessings you have been to me and my family. You have made it possible fo us to keep our Health Insurance. God Bless you.
You are like am angel that entered my life. Our electric was going to get cut and I was going to have to pull my kids from school and go to Tunkhannock. You saved us from all that.
I couldn't believe you did that for me. Nobody has ever done that for me in my entire life.
12/21/11 You have helped me so much in the past. Thank you for helping me provide my daughters a Christmas. I have been crying sick & worried for a week. You are a true friend & one of the greatest men I have ever met. Thank you again Mark.
09/29/11 Mark I appreciate your understanding of my wife's pancreatic cancer. I know you just went through this with your dad. Obviously the income stops as I am up in Philly with my wife. Your voluntary and thoughtful gift is most appreciated. I hope we can all meet up again soon in North Carolina with my wife healed. Your brother

Mark. Thank you for being obedient (to the Lord). I was going through the bills and I wasn't going to be able to cover them. You helped 3 children receive Christmas presents. My mom opened your letter and I thought she was mistaken in the amount. I couldn't believe it.
I have always known you to be a giving pesron. Thank you for your help.
(From a man) I don't cry very often but I cried after the gift you gave me. I feel so blessed to have you as a friend.
